I fell into the Manger.

WoW!!!

It has been some time since I've posted a blog, but I can tell you I have been busy getting another POWERFUL POINTS BIBLICAL PRESENTATION ready for you to enjoy and teach.

THE NATIVITY has been launched with tender loving care.

This is our first New Testament Powerful Points Presentation. We wanted to start at the beginning in the respective sections of the Bible and when it happed that the first New Testament project would come together just before Christmas … it was my passion and total commitment to get it done in time for the holidays. It really was not planned that way. But I fell into the manger and I couldn't get out. I just could not get away from it. The illustrations just consumed me. The models in the above picture were part of our last years Christmas Program. Meet Michael, Kelsie and Paige.

Initially I wanted to do two Old Testament presentations and two New Testament presentations and … we will be able to do that. It has already been determined that the next presentation will feature a series of 4 stories about Jesus, starting with his youthful adventures in the temple. Right now we have titled it, “Jesus, Just Who is He, Anyway?”

THE NATIVITY would be a great way to introduce the Powerful Points Biblical Presentations to your child, or student(s) if you haven’t already done so.

If you or your children play games on your computer, this is a great way to tell or teach the story of Jesus’ birth. Most children have access to computers these days and some are more comfortable with them than adults are. However, you can read with them the Nativity Presentation, do some puzzles and color some pictures together and discuss what was happening to Joseph and Mary during a time that most likely started out to be just a simple trip to Bethlehem and turned into a nightmare for them. Staying in a stable would not have been their first choice for overnight accommodations.

The Teachers Comments Guide is full of history and truths about Christmas. I have to tell you, we learned a few things, after all these years of telling the Christmas Story, in just putting it together. We may be focusing on children, but adults may learn from this piece of the product, too. The Guide is especially written for the adult(s) teaching the story.

So many times we take what we see on the Christmas cards or in the live manger scenes as totally Biblical. That is not always the case. We do need to be sure that what we are teaching is from the Word of God. You just might be surprised at what you can learn, too.

Think about setting aside some time during the week before Christmas and share the story of Jesus birth with your children. Why not the whole family, for that matter? The Nativity is divided into 4 sections that can be told, read, studied as never before. Watch THE NATIVITY PRESENTATION in its entirety or in sections, as seems fit for your needs and time allowed. Share the information in the Teachers Guide and work together the pages of puzzles, word activities and coloring pages. Doing the materials is very flexible. You decide how much or little to present.

The most economical version is the DOWNLOAD version, but may not be the best option for those using “dial up” as the files are in zipped format and 5mg. for larger in size. If you are a “do it yourself” type of person, this is a great way to go. Just run the Flash Presentations from your computer and print what is needed.

The CDs are basically the same price with some shipping and handling added. There are no zipped files. The Flash and PDF files are in 9 file folders managing the Powerful Presentations or Educational Materials by title. It is recommended that you copy the files to your own computer, but they can be accessed from the CD.

The Binder is wonderful to hold and look at. It contains EVERYTHING presented in the
download and CD versions, except that it is printed for immediate use. Pop open the rings, copy the pages if you want to keep the originals as masters or put in the “Complete Product” CD and print in color as many as needed. Included are five extra disks with individual Powerful Points Presentations for individual use. They are the featured presentation and the 2 scripture versions of Luke and Matthew. Both come with graphics and without graphics for great Bible memorization sessions.

All in all we are very proud of our Powerful Points Biblical Presentations. However, THE NATIVITY has a special place in my heart and I loved working on it in all aspects because I love Christmas. I love telling the story my Jesus’ birth. My Jesus, your Jesus and how much He loves us.

Help tell the story. It may not have been as Joseph planned the trip … it was even better.

Linda
