Something New

Greetings,

Well, it took some doing but Bible Study for Kids website has a new look, a new style that is much more up to date and code friendly for the search engines. The change was going to be needed sooner or later and I opted for sooner before the site got any larger with additional FREE materials, games, puzzles, and products.

I hope it works okay for you. There is some scripting on it and music. If you don't want to hear the music just click on the little button on the top of the home page. My own personal likes are of course not necessarily in "tune" with everyone.

As of this very moment of writing, I am in Houston, Texas. Yes ... a long way from home in Iowa. I guess I'm calling this a "working vacation". I'm on vacation from everything but working on Bible Study for Kids. Some times its hard to find uninterrupted blocks of time. I've a friend who is doing consulting for a firm here and she has been commuting from Iowa. Her hotel room ... empty all day long for three days a week ... seemed like a waste of good time and space. So, I invited myself along for one of those weeks. She is at her job and I'm making use of this wonderful quiet space for a couple of days. Then I intend to entertain a daughter and her family at the pool and take them to dinner before I go home with them for a week-end. So it does end up being a vacation too.

This hotel time though is for putting some finishing touches on "In the Garden." It is so close to being done. It is exciting.

It was not my intention to be this long in adding to the blog, but I put all my focus on learning a new website program and reworking www.biblestudyforkids.com.
